Marta Allen I can't begin to express how wonderful our dog, Rockefeller (Cruger/Verona; U litter 2004) is. Since buying & spoiling our first born, we have had twin babies. Rock is phenomenal with the kids. He is gentle, kind, PATIENT and totally submissive to our little 18 month old kids. Though we are teaching the little ones to be gentle with their dog (& visa versa), it's a learning process: they've poked his eye, tweaked his ear and even snatched his treat. Each time, Rock looks up to me for rescue from the kids. Each time, we get the perfect reaction from him. Keep in mind, he has not been professionally trained. What a great dog. We hope to buy another one from you in the future. Here's a picture of him enjoying the snow on vacation. He took to the snow like he was born in it. What fun for all.
Michael Prince & Heidi Prince, CA It is almost a month now since Heidi and I lost our Female German Shepherd, Dakota and we brought Jaro home to fill the emptiness in the house. As you know losing Dakota was traumatic and left us feeling empty. But Wayne, you came to the rescue. I felt so comfortable and secure talking with you that Sunday morning I had to fly up right away and see Jaro. While on the plane I wondered if I done the right thing having awkward feelings and remorse all jumbled together. While breeders and trainers talk about true bloodlines and training; the most important element is trust in the trainer. You were so right, Jaro was the perfect dog for our family, impeccably breed, healthy with A-1 bone and skeleton, well trained, happy, rock solid and Brad Pitt handsome. I cannot thank you and the staff enough for taking care in helping us find the right German Shepherd and companion. It has been hard replacing our pets over the years; your help made it so easy. Jaro is everything you expected he would be. Solid in busy public places and even flying home from Seattle with a stranger and being handled by TSA, yet he has a playful side that makes him lovable. Even after two German Shepherds, I was skeptical of just flying home to Los Angeles and having a well adjusted 16 month old German Shepherd fit in to the Prince household. No problem here as your training and trust in Jaro was well placed. Strange children walk up to Jaro and start a conversation and pet him; yet he is responsive, receptive and attentive to their age and awkward movements. Our 16 week old puppy can manhandle him and he takes care to be his playmate. Thought you might like to see Jaro at play with Buster. But the real comfort was our trust in Kraftwerk and your expertise. Jaro was exceptionally healthy and well adjusted while displaying the qualities you thought were best for our family environment. Your help in choosing the right German Shepherd beat our selection process of the cute one with the spot on his chest or look at his markings or he comes when you call him the first time. I enjoyed our time at Kraftwerk and we are so glad we placed our trust in you and your staff. Anytime you need a recommendation please feel free to have anyone ring us up. Best Regards, Michael Prince & Heidi Prince Los Angeles California
Mike and Ann Port, MA Eddy has been part of our lives for 6 months now and will celebrate his second birthday next month. When he first arrived, he immediately took to frolicking and chasing his ball in the deep New England snow. Now, as you can see, in the hot summer weather he takes a "swim" to keep cool as he plays. Of course, his ever-present ball goes with him into the pool. We are surprised that he's such a "water dog." He races into the back yard and sits in the empty pool waiting patiently for us to fill it with water. Only then is it time to play ball. Eddy is not only beautiful, he is also incredibly bright, always obedient, eager to please, and much to our delight, a real "cuddle bunny." He and Casey, our 5 year old female German Shepherd, have become great playmates and enjoy romping together. We could not be happier with Eddy. He is everything we wanted in a dog and more. Thank you for providing us with such a well trained and special animal. Warm regards, Ann and Mike Port 07-23-2008 Noelle Williams, FL I received Wolfgang aka "Gator" this morning from the airport. What a special dog he is! He is so attentive and he definitely mastered his puppy school. Thank you for this fantastic dog! You run a top notch facility!
Meg and Josh Blum, FL Here is Obelix "Obie"(Wilson x Amie) at 16 weeks. He weighs 48 pounds and is a wonderful puppy. I picked him up at your beautiful facility and carried him home on the plane. He has been an easily trained puppy and knows come, sit, down, speak, shush, stay (up to about a minute), off, settle, shake and kiss. He is very calm and focused. He just learned to swim and fetch from the water. On Independence Day he sat at our feet, in front of an open campfire, and watched as we set off fireworks including spinning, screaming, popping, blasting ones. Not a whine, flinch or even laying back of the ears: A completely unflappable pup. We spent months searching for the "right" breeder and it is very clear that we found him in Wayne and Kraftwerk K9. The mental stability and wonderful temperament of our dog is a testament to your breeding of titled working dogs. Thank you.
Terry Conley, MI "I purchased a Kraftwerk dog as a puppy and gained much confidence in Wayne and his operation. My needs changed and I needed a more experienced dog until my puppy matured and I looked to Kraftwerk with confidence. Kraftwerk worked with me for several weeks searching and finding the right fit for my "pack" which now totals three GSD's. We just added a new Kraftwerk dog and the transition has been very smooth. I am very impressed with Kraftwerk and I am a hard sell. I have owned GSD's for nearly 40 years and Kraftwerk is top of the class without any questions."
Dan & Rita Shapiro, FL Here she is again... The origional Puppy Genius, Neika Vom Kraftwerk (Rabauke/Gina "N" Litter 2004). You should know that Neika is the reason we decided to get our second Kraftwerk pup, Kuno Vom Kraftwerk, a couple months ago. We just knew that as awesome as she was, we would be pleased with a second dog from your kennel. Aside from being the most athletic GSD at the agility field, she has been a great "big sister" to Kuno. It's amazing how she teaches him everything from good behavior to bringing in the morning paper every day. That's kind of funny because now we have to save the prior day's paper, put it in a bag and toss it into the front yard so they both can bring one into the house every morning. Keep up the good work. I saw a memorable quote the other day... "A dog is the only relative you get to choose". So true, they really are a part of our family. We are really glad to have picked our new relatives from Kraftwerk K9.
Brenda Joyce, AZ Rena is 11 weeks old now and amazing--a great addition to the family! I felt that Razz, my previous Kraftwerk GSD, was such a great dog that I wanted another one. Rena arrived just as he did--confident and bold, eager to meet the other dogs, happy to fit right in! As you can see, she and Razz are best buddies. I knew he wouldn't be jealous and I was right--he's a big brother. Rena is really smart, also. She is learning her first commands! In another week or so, she will be making her first road trip as a horse show dog. Thanks so much,
Dan & Rita Shapiro, FL Hello Kraftwerk, Thought you might like to see how this "little" guy is progressing. He turned 14 weeks last Thursday. This picture was taken this morning. Kuno, our fourth GSD is now 41 pounds. Yes, that's 41 lbs. at 15 weeks. Our regular vet was out when we brought him in for his second round of vaccinations, so his partner attended to Kuno. The Doc was a bit unsure, due to his size, how old Kuno really is... until he checked his puppy teeth. At that point he was just thoroughly impressed at how big, healthy beautiful, and well trained he already was. That was at a little over 12 weeks. Reputations are earned... Yours is well deserved. We now have two Kraftwerk dogs... Neika from Rabauka/Gina is almost 4 years old and as far as we were concerned the smartest, best GSD there ever was or will be. Now, and not to take anything away from Neika, we have Kuno... and realize it's just your breeding program.
Jim Moorman, OH Kraftwerk Team- I purchased Nessy vom Haus Fromann back in April and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful addition to my family she has been! She is everything a great german Shepherd should be but also possesses a sensitivity unmatched by any other dog I've known. She keeps a close eye on the family, especislly my 8 month old daughter, Mena. I'm extremely pleased with her working ability as well as her ball drive! She loves that ball and is usually the fastest dog in the park! Thanks again for providing me with the best dog I've ever owned!
Nikki Jarin, Delaware Hi Kraftwerkk9! I just wanted to leave an update on my bundle of joy, Keira. She is the most intelligent puppy I have ever seen. Her attention span is immensely impressive. We received her at 8 weeks and 1 day, shortly thereafter I started training her with the video I got from you guys. To say in the least she has mastered sitz, come and sit in front position, and we are progressing ever so quickly on heel. Not to mention she is doing so well with house training. In conclusion, I really appreciate the quality of GSD I received from Kraftwerk. Also, I would recommend you guys to anyone.
Bryan Massey, VA Just a short note to say thank you! Spartan from Xebec and Brandy is an absolutely amazing puppy. I am simply blown away at how fast he is progressing. After only 4 days with me he has already taken to crate training. He goes outside and eliminates immediately. He has learned to eat from my right hand, and is expecting his reward when he sits. He is also coming to his name, and walking on leash better than most adult dogs. He is friendly to people, and absolutely loves kids. Last night on our pre-bedtime walk, a pizza guy was running in our direction trying to make it too his car. It looked threatening and Spartan perked up, held his ground, and let out a bark that I swear could not have come from this little guy. He is only 8 weeks now so to say I am amazed is a complete understatement. I have had German Shepherds before so this is not a case of my puppy is the best simply because he is my puppy. Your breeding and care in developing the German Shepherd far exceeds anything I have ever experienced before, and your training videos have put me squarely in charge of his development. Your simple methodical approach sets us both up to succeed with positive reinforcement. They are the best training videos I have ever seen, and I have already recommended them to several of my friends with other breeds. Hopefully you will continue to produce more in the series. Thank you again to you and your wonderful staff. Loyal customer for life, Bryan
Marlette Love-Goodnight, CA E GNS Conor Vom Kraftwerk (Connor/Branka 2007) turns 12 months on May 29th. He is 26 inches and 100 lbs. We are thrilled with him! He took two Group 2s at a recent NAKC show and received great comments from the judges. Conor is currently training in obedience, rally, agility and herding. He is my dream working dog! Thank you SO much for Conor!
Bill and Denise Wittman, WI About Fritz (Xebec/Roxy I litter 2/5/08): As soon as we got him home from the airport right out of the crate he retrieved a Bully stick and brought it back to me four times in a row. This was our first clue he was an exceptional dog. Now at 12 weeks, he continues to amaze us. Loud noises, unusual footing and new situations do not bother him. He is fearless. He loves to play hide and seek in the woods and will climb anything. He likes meeting new people. He constantly looks to me for direction and loves to learn. He started Schutzhund training and I have been told he has a good bite and will be a good tracker. The only thing holding this dog back is his owner. I am new to Schutzhund and learning as fast as I can. Thank you Kraftwerk for a great dog. You exceeded our expectations.
Joe & Valerie Sarlo, MA Wayne and Kraftwerk team, Just a few words on Axel from Wilson & Dana D Litter 1/10/2008. He is everything we could have asked for as our new family member. He is healthy, intelligent, very vocal and loves attention, as well as, drawing a lot of attention where ever we go. He is very sociable with people and other dogs. He is just about inseparable from my wife Valerie, they have bonded quite strongly. His training is coming along very well considering I am doing it myself. He is now just about 15 weeks old. House training him was very easy within a couple of days went right to the door when he needed to go out. I can't say enough about him. Thank you very much for a great dog.
Marilyn White I wanted to let you know how much we enjoy having Emma (Wilson/Aika B Litter) as part of our family. She is very attentive and loves to practice the training she learned through your program. Since that time we have also learned to shake and sit up. Her temperment is unlike any shepherd we have had in the past, and for the better! She quickly felt at home and never once cryed at night. I have attached a couple photos taken at 17 weeks and nearly 40 lbs. As you can see, she is just stunning. Thank you again for all your help.
Day Redhead, Here is an updated picture of Mel vom Kraichgauer Wal. She is a great dog who is both smart and protective. We have had the best experiences with her since we brought her home last July. Many thanks and I hope you all are doing well !!
Terry Conley, MI Dear Kraftwerk, My new puppy, Cash, arrived about two weeks ago. After a very short transition period he is now a part of the family. I am very impressed with his character, IQ, and energy levels. He is exactly what I wanted and Wayne did a great job in aligning my desires with the personality of the dog. We have a very busy home with other pets and children. The neighborhood has already adopted Cash and he has many friends. Thanks Kraftwerk!
Ken Moran, FL Baxter and Hailey six months apart. Thanks for such a great pair.
Sue Parini, CA Wow! On March 22nd, Pia (Dana & Ursus) passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. And she was just nine months old. She's quite a competitor as well as a social butterfly. Enjoy a photo of her taken yesterday. She is as good and sweet as she is beautiful.
Jim Moorman,OH I just wanted to drop a quick line and give you an update on Nessy. I'm pleased to report that she is fully acclimated and doing wonderful! I couldn't be happier. She really is sensitive and sweet. I took her to a schutzhund club a few days ago and she did great! She really enjoyed it and I plan on working her to her Schutzhund II title. I'm very much looking forward to it and to a long happy time to come with her!
Akiki Family, OH Gary(from Wilson and Alpha) arrived happy and healthy! He is ajusting great to his new home and family. We've decided to change his name to Baron and he's already learning it! We are extremly impressed with him! Thanks again for all your help.
Daniela Graf, FL Thought you might be interested to hear that "my girl" Maya vom Kraftwerk (daughter of Roxy Stadtfeld and Don v.d. Moenchhofskappelle - just turned 2 last week) is one to look for in the future! She has been in Germany for training since the end of December....I decided to send her there because my living location is too far to any club to be able to train regularly; besides, I'm not skilled enough as a handler to give her what she needs. But I do have enough knowledge to have known that this girl has what it takes to compete at a top level. I've had this confirmed by Bernhard Flinks (who wanted to buy her from me) and now by this woman who is in charge of her training. The lady's name is Nicole Meyer and she is the breeder, owner, trainer and handler of the famous "Fiasko vom Gebrueder Grimm", who is now deceased. With Fiasko she competed at the World Championship. We found out that "Maya" is a granddaughter of "Fiasko" (small world indeed). In any case; when Maya headed out to Germany she had only had bitework and some obedience on her....3 months later she got her SH1! Granted she showed her "independent" nature during the obedience routine, but she scored a 93 in tracking and a 97 in protection and ended up high in trial for the day! I KNOW that with some extra time, experience and maturity, this female is capable of high 90's and 100's in all 3 phases!...she is EXCEPTIONAL and I am very proud of her and I hope you feel proud of your breeding!
Michal and Dea O'Hopp, MD Here is our "Scout", aka V-Quanja vom Salztalblick. It really is hard to put into words our enormous thanks to Wayne and everyone at Kraftwerk. When we first spoke to Wayne, we told him of our needs and wants in a dog and boy oh boy did he ever deliver with Scout. She is everything we could hope for - gentle with children, sticks to us like velcro, and ball drive? We have a hill of approximately 1/2 acre on a 45 degree angle. We can heave that ball 30 times and she never tires of going for it and many times catches it on the bounce. As the weeks go by, we are confident that she will become protective of us in all situations. I know (and appreciate) that everyone thinks their dog is tops, but we must say that Scout has exceeded completely our expectations in temperament, soundness, health, vitality, affection - uh yea...she has stolen our hearts! 03-04-2008 Lani Deauville, FL Dear Wayne, I purchased Benny from you on 9/17/02. I have owned German Shepherds ever since 1950! As you may remember, I am a quadriplegic and was looking for a well-behaved German Shepherd to cross train as a service dog for me. You told me that you had the perfect dog for me! You could not have been more correct! I am 99.9% certain that Benny is the dog who is kissing your young daughter on your website! To this day, he loves little blonde girls. I have a video of Benny doing his protection work. After ferociously attacking the guy in the protective suit, the video follows Benny over to your daughter where he gives her an enormous kiss! The dog who is kissing your daughter on your website looks exactly like Benny, and your daughter is wearing the exact same outfit that she was wearing in the video when Benny kissed her. She is even clutching the same doll! Benny is, without question, the most incredible dog that I have ever seen or owned. After all these years, with no additional training, he literally jumps to his commands! He is assertive, when necessary, but never aggressive. My husband had to have brain surgery two years ago. Our son and I were staying in a hotel in Miami. Benny and I were riding up the elevator when a man got on that Benny did not trust. He went, on his leash, from the left side where he always is at his appropriate position to the right side where the man stood. Benny simply leaned against him, effectively pinning him to the wall of the elevator (Benny's a big boy!). I reached up and pushed the number of a floor on which I was not staying, got off the elevator and waited for another elevator. As I waited, I started to laugh -- realizing that from the look on the man's face when Benny leaned on him, he would never bother me! Benny goes to work with me every day. Everyone at the office absolutely adores him! All of our customers look forward to seeing him, and frequently ask about him if he doesn't come out to the lobby. He is loved by all -- but it is absolutely totally devoted to me! Who could ask more of a loving, protective companion? Prior to purchasing Benny, we had bought a puppy from you -- Vikki vom Kraftwerk for my husband. She is totally devoted to my husband, and he to her! Of course, since we got her as a puppy, she was not trained by you. Consequently, she is not nearly as well mannered as Benny -- but an awesome dog nonetheless. I don't know what I would do without Benny. I love him more than words can express. Thank you so much for the incredible job that you do! Your dogs are absolutely the best that money can buy! Sincerely and with many thanks, Lani Deauville
Andrea & Derek,WA We cannot thank you enough for the help in selecting our wonderful puppy, Dillinger from the Ursus and Amie litter born on July 19, 2007. Not a day goes by that someone doesnt comment on how gorgeous he is. He goes to Doggie Daycare a few times a week for socialization and exercise and the Daycare staff actually fight over who gets to have Dillinger. They all just love him. At just over 7 months old, Dillinger now weighs about 90 pounds and according to our Vet, he\'s the poster puppy for what a German Shepherd pup should be. There have been many occasions that Dillinger has taken a protective role and stepped in between me and another person or another dog. He is so incredibly smart and has such an amazing personality that he fits right in to our household. Despite his size and somewhat intimidating stature, he is completely at home laying in our laps or giving the kids who live next-door some sloppy wet kisses. We couldnt be happier with the protective, loving nature of our puppy and look forward to bringing home another Kraftwerk puppy for Dillinger to play with in the coming months.
Parini, CA Thought you all might like a Pia update. She loved puppy kindergarten (beginning agility and beginning obedience) and is now mid-way into an AKC Canine Good Citizen class - she is the star of the class. She is so loving, smart and outgoing…she’s just a wonderful girl!
Harvey Miles I thought y'all might enjoy seeing Daks Vom Kraftwerk. He was from the Feb 12,2007 litter of Ursus and Heska. He is a great dog and has been so easy to train.
LaRee & Gary, CA We love this dog! Odin aka Valhalla vom Kraftwerk (GoGo/Wilson)is truly an amazing dog! He is now 16 weeks old and we couldn't ask for more. He is a very beautiful, strong dog & he attracts attention whenever we go out. He is healthy and active. He has a perfect temperament. He is playful and very intelligent & intuitive. I am amazed at how quickly he learns and his manners are almost impeccable. He also gets along well with the our old shar pei, our two macaws and two cats. WE LOVE ODIN!! Thank you Kraftwerk!
Marc Wooley, PA Just wanted to update you on Maximus and Uran. We purchased both dogs from you in 2004-2005 and they are doing well. Maximus is from Gina/Rabauke and Uran came to us from Germany. They have become a big part of our family and are quite the showmen around Philadelphia. I always get compliments on their looks and demeanor.
Robert and Rebekah Tapie How is it up there in WA? We have a light snow today but it's really cold. It didn't bother Mocha, as you'll see in the attached jpegs. She still had her barn chores to do & managed to play & romp around in the snow. We adore her, she loves driving around in the cars and Kawasaki barn mule for chores. She's respectful of the horses and keeps a good distance from them also. She's a good sleeper, since night 3 or 4 she's slept 8-10 hrs straight through every night! Thank God, it takes all my energy to keep up with her during the day. Well, off to feed the horses & take Mocha out. Thanks for the wonderful pup, we wish we would have taken both females! Happy 2008.
Paul & Dominique, IL Hello Kraftwerk! This is our son, Achilles the Warrior, from your Sept. 2006 H-litter (Wilson x Dana). We have owned and trained our fair share of working and show dogs but nothing we have ever had compares to him. His bitework is out-of-this world- he is so advanced and strong for his age that our very experienced helper avoids doing long bites with him because we fear that he might hurt himself. He has so much heart. His obedience is just as awesome- we get so many compliments from people on how beautiful he looks when he's making constant eye contact with Paul on the field. Besides being incredibly smart he has so much intuition, I feel so safe with him. We can turn him on and turn him off, he's not like one of those neurotic working dogs that can't think for himself. I don't know what we'd do without him. We are also pregnant with our first child who is due to be born in July. I know he is going to be a wonderful big brother. :) Thank you very much!!!
Tobias Incollingo, KY Here is a new pic of Layla (03 Cruger x Gina). Four years old and definitely not slowing down. Nice dog! Thank you.
Anthony and Lisa Bambino, CT We wanted to give you an update on Aries, from the Ursus/Chula N-Litter. He is doing great. He is only 5 months old and he's such a good dog. We get compliments by everyone who see's him, especially the vet. He's so beautiful and loving. And very protective already. Our two young boys love playing with him. He's a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you, The Bambino Family
Ingo & Rigmor Schneider, AZ Happy New Year to all Kraftwerk Staff, We wanted to let you know that our beautiful puppy Jack (R-Litter)who has been with us for only two weeks is an absolute delight. He handled the initial two hour drive from the airport like a champ, he never complains when we put him in his crate and he is generally eager to please. He has the commands of "sitz", "platz", "hier" and "bleib" down already although he is only 14 weeks old. Last week he went to the vet and he handled the visit very well. We already love him and anticipate great things from him as he is already demonstrating his intelligence. Thank you for breeding a perfect companion for us.
Sarah & Christopher, IL We purchased a puppy last year from the Ursus/Newa litter and we couldn't be happier. Sergeant is a little over one year old and about 85lbs. Everyday he continues to amaze us with his intelligence, willingness to learn & please, and most of all for his handsome appearance. We could not have asked for a better companion. Thank you!
Persons, CA Happy New Year Wayne and all the people at Kraftwerk. Gina was seven on October eighth. She recovered splendidly from her C-section in February and spaying in May. Maybe the raw meat helped. She is such a wonderful perfect lady we can't imagine how we got along without her. She goes everywhere with us except when it is too hot to leave her in the car or into restaurants and grocery stores. Her response to strangers is spot on. She is reserved and careful with strange men until we introduce her. She loves children and loves to play with them. Nothing pleases her more than romping with our thirteen year old grand son and his friends unless it is chasing squirrels on our morning and evening walks or roughhousing with other dogs at the dog park. For us Gina is the ideal German shepherd dog in character, intelligence, structure and appearance. Every day we send thanks to you for breeding her and letting us have her. Happy New Year, Don and Judy Person
Tracie Strickland, AL Happy Holidays!! I just wanted to give you an update on Winston, H-Litter Dana-Wilson(2006). He is such a wonderful part of our family! My husband and I had had our first child this October, and while Winston is only a year old, he is wonderful with the baby!! He takes it as his personal responsibility to alert us when the baby is crying, and ensures that he has many daily baths by kissing him to make him smile.:) I have no doubt that my "two babies" will enjoy growing up together. Thank you for breeding such a wonderful dog. We look forward to purchasing another in the future. I have attached a picture of Winston with Alex's toys on Christmas morning. Thank you again!
Sergey Degtyar, IL I bought a great dog from your company ... Wilma vom Kraftwerk (former Venja). Very smart (it took her approximately 30 minutes at the age of almost 5 months to learn all the basic commands and she never required any "home training"). Also, she is a very good working dog, she tracks without any training and has a great memory. I am telling everybody about your kennel. Wilma is now 2 years old. With my comments, I am including her picture made when she was one and a half years old.
Mike, Joy, Mia, and Mikey LePage, NH Merry Christmas Kraftwerk. This is a picture of our newest edition, Greta, (M-Litter, Wilson and Anna July 2007). She is almost five months old and already almost forty pounds. Our fox terrier and her are still trying to figure out who the boss is but she is wonderful! Thanks Kraftwerk for a wonderful canine companion for the whole family! Happy Holidays. The LePage Family, Kingston NH
Carol M, GA Lorena is the most intuitive dog I have ever known. Everywhere I take her; stores, assisted living to see my mother, training, walks in the neighborhood; it does not matter as she is the most poised and perfect protector. She can tell the difference at just a year old what might be a threat or just a greeting. When I take her to the assisted living facility to visit my mother she lays next to the game table while we play checkers while people walk by with walkers, wheel chairs possibly with oxygen tanks and of course all of the caretakers walking about. She loves to perform her obedience routine for anyone who admires her, which is almost everyone. We are quick to perform a routine of “Heel, sit, down, stay, here, and come around.” Of course, she is so advanced at just one year old no one believes she is so young. There is so much more I could tell you. As we have our walks through the neighborhood, everyone is amazed at her obedience, beauty and personality. We live in an area which has large acreage so there are horses, cows, goats, lots of dogs and cats as wells as the wild variety of deer, squirrels, possums, and so forth. Lorena has learned to be obedient on leash and deal with comes our way on our long walks, perhaps a little “Hi Lo Silver” routine, but never a run away. These photos I have sent are her birthday at one year. She is an anchor to us now. I am grateful for your persistence in breeding the best.
Michael Ellison, WA Here is a picture of Cali, June 2006 litter, at 18 months. She is a fabulous dog for us, has a great disposition, loves people and though dominate gets along fine with other dogs. Is very smart, easy to train and exceedingly alert to her surroundings. She is frequently complimented on her looks and behavior. Excited and enthusiastic about most everything.
Kimberly Griminger I just want to thank you for my Ruger! He is such a blessing in my life and his intelligence level is incredible. Everything about him is incredible!!! From day one when I picked him up from the airport and his eyes met mine there was an instant bond for life. Everyday he makes me smile. He is so well bred that it's like his D.N.A was bonded with mine and he is hard wired to me. Training him has been a breeze because all he wants to do is please and do his job. Constant eye contact, waiting for his next command or praise. I plan on breeding him soon so I'll keep in touch and send pictures of his pups. If I ever decided to buy another German Shepherd I'm sold on yours. Again thank you! Best Wishes, Kimberly Griminger and Ruger(aka-Rocky)
Scott and Jeannine MacDowell, MA Hello Kraftwerk Family, Just a note of thanks for the beautiful dog Cyrus is! This is our first dog and we could not ask for a better dog, he is now 6 months old and weighs in at 76lbs! He is just amazing, he is doing well in his obedience training and will start his protection training in the Spring. The trainer, Lance Woodley, has owned Kraftwerks dogs and is very familar with Cyrus' father Amigo and says that geneticly Cyrus has everything going for him and that it will be fun to watch his progress as he gets older. Thanks again! Scott and Jeannine Amber S. Milliken, MA Hi Wayne and the Kraftwerk team, I wanted to give you an update on "Carbon" (Ursus/Newa M litter). He's 13 months old now, 85lbs, and is so responsive and quick in training to the point of almost being a mind-reader. His drive and focus are amazing to witness. He's fearless, protective, gorgeous and so much fun! Every day he does something that makes me laugh. I have NEVER come across a dog that is this outstanding, and I want to thank you for all of the hard work that I know goes into creating such a quality dog. My highest compliments. Please feel free to give my number to anyone as a reference. To see a fun video of Carbon from 14 weeks to 6 months go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifdIaxTrj5s I hope to be purchasing another dog from you in a year or so. I'll talk to you then!
Henry and Judy Sader, NE We purchased Jaeger from you a little over two years ago as a puppy (Kaiko & Josy) and thought you might like to see a picture of our 100 lb "puppy" as he is now. Jaeger is incredible - he is so intelligent one can almost carry on a conversation with him. He knows the time of day, an abundance of words, listens to the phone when his "Dad" calls, will watch animals on T.V. and is very picky about his treats. He could also open doors in our house when he was 6 Months old. He listens intently when we talk to him. He was easy to house train, very sociable and friendly, and also a big, mischievous handful as a puppy. We really enjoy this dog!
Roberta Body, PA I wanted to share a picture of our puppy, Petra, from your H litter. She is almost 5 months old and at the time of the picture (11/3/07) weighed 45 pounds. She is a pure delight, very loving and very mischievous. In addition to her regal look, she is extremely intelligent and is eager to please.
Dianne & Bill Zachar, AZ I wanted to update you on Rudy, born June 30, 2007. First, I'm amazed at how well he handled the flight to Arizona. It didn't faze him at all. And a week after we received him, Bill was injured in a motorcycle accident and spent several weeks in the hospital. Rudy's handling the ever-changing routine quite well and his antics are a welcome relief from hospitals, doctors and insurance companies. I took him to the vet yesterday for his last puppy shots and he weighs 48 pounds! The vet loves him. The first time we brought him in, the vet picked him up and had his picture taken with him. The vet said he can tell that you really care about the breeding of your dogs. Rudy's got a wonderful personality and great temperament - he really likes people. Our neighbor girls come over and play with him and take him through his obedience commands. He plays with his own toys and is not destructive (aside from a couple of shoe casualties and the occasional toilet paper pulling contest) and deals really well with Sarah, our 14.5 year old female German Shepherd. She's got a lot more spunk since he arrived! Like all your other clients, I can't say enough about the Kraftwerks team. We'll definitely be repeat customers!
Jeff, Christina & Kyle, Lake Tahoe Hello Wayne & the Kraftwerk family- We just wanted to thank you and update you on "Snarles Barkley" (H Litter - Wilson & Dana). He is a treasure. We can't go anywhere without people stopping and asking about our Barkley. Barkley swims in Tahoe whenever possible. He enjoys his long walks and mountain hikes. He loves the snow. Our six year old son is Barkley's best friend. They play together all day long. Barkley has gotten to go to school with Kyle and he never misses a soccer game either. He is great around kids and other dogs.
Sutherland Family, MT Wayne and Kayla, We love our dog! He took to us quickly, and without a problem. He is beautiful, too. I've sent 8 pictures, so they may arrive in two batches. Enjoy, and let me know that you received them, if you would. Blessings to you both, Bob and Sue Sutherland
Jim and Kate Coleman, TN HE’S WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an adventure. You are right, he is amazingly gentle. He is enthralled with the TV. He and Kate curled up in the back seat on the way home and watched the DVD’s you sent. He has completely settled in and has found his place in the pack. The cat properly and painfully educated him so that is behind us. He just steers clear now. Anyway, thanks for picking him out for us. He is a perfect fit!!
Mark & Jan Loveland, NV Hi Wayne and Kraftwerk Team, Mark purchased Max in 2006 and we are sending an updated photo of Max with his play mates. He is such a wonderful shepherd, so loving and giving of himself and so very smart. You have the best breading program we have ever come across, thank you so much for a wonderful dog, we also feel the same way about Blue, Bear and Snickers, Max playes with all of them and is such a character. He also loves to go four wheeling and you say go for a ride and he is on the four wheeler before we can even get there to go. Anyway we love all our dogs and wanted you to see he is doing just fine. Thank you, The Lovelands
Cindy Luster, WV X-cellent Anya Vom Kraftwerk TD (Cruger x Greyc)finished her RN from the B classes the end of September, 2007. She is a happy and spirited worker who is a joy to both train and to live with!!! She loves everyone and adores her ball - thanks again for my beautiful girl.
Toby Werthammer, WV Greetings KraftwerkK9 Team: I just want to update you on Elsa (Ursus/Newa Z Litter) who is now 5 1/2 months old and weighs 61 pounds! She continues to exceed our expectations on every level. She has become the "star" in her obedience group and everyone who sees her falls in love with her. Thanks again for the perfect K9 companion -- we adore her! ~Toby Werthammer
Lorna Clews, FL A million thank you's! Our 2 beautiful Kraftwerks german shepherd dogs are more than family. Thor, our boy from Kaiko/Fresche Oct,05, and our girl Chloe from UrsusPia Nov,05 are the best! They turn heads everywhere they go! Thor has developed a sense to sniff cancer in people which we are investigating further - besides showing off his superior power, intelligence and very well balanced drives in his Schutzhund training classes, setting club records and proving his top notch breeding thanks to you all at Kraftwerk! Trainer tells us that what these dogs have can't be taught - it is in their breeding....that says it all. In hopes that they will make you proud!
Katie O'Connor, NY Round Lake, New York Message: Wayne -- we did it! Ellie (Lasko/Gina) got her BH this weekend. I can\'t thank you enough for my wonderful dog. I hope I can continue to train her to her full potential in Schutzhund now. For sure the learning curve is greater for me than it is for her.
Lynda Mynuk, WV Thought I'd update you on Katya (Conner and Branka 5-29-07). She is doing very well in her obedience classes. She is taking Beginning Obedience and Rally classes. She is only 4 1/2 months old but already knows all her commands both verbally and by signals. I won't let her do jumps but she can do Advanced Rally courses on lead. She loves everyone she meets and doesn't shy from new experiences. She is a joy to live with. As you can see from her picture she is also beautiful. Thank you very much for this wonderful girl that we named Kunym Katya vom Kraftwerk.
Mike and Rona Guggemos, AZ WE LOVE THESE DOGS!! MY 10 YEAR OLD SUMMED IT UP VERY WELL SATURDAY. HE SAID "WE'VE ONLY HAD THESE DOGS FOR A DAY AND I ALREADY LOVE THEM." AXEL IS ALREADY MY BUDDY - HE FOLLOWS ME EVERYWHERE! BLITZ IS MY HUSBAND'S AND MY OLDEST SON'S BUDDY. WE FOUND OUT THAT BLITZ LOVES THE WATER. ALL WE HAVE TO DO FOR HER EXERCISE IS TURN ON THE HOSE AND SHE CHASES THE WATER. MY BOYS ALSO USE THEIR SQUIRT GUNS FOR BLITZ TO CHASE AND WHENEVER BLITZ WANTS TO PLAY SHE GOES STRAIGHT TO THE SQUIRT GUN. AXEL, WELL, HE'LL PLAY WITH ANYTHING. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, HE HAS NOT CHEWED ON ANYTHING ASIDE FROM HIS TOYS AND OUR FINGERS AND TOES. I HAVE 3 BOYS - 14, 10, AND 9. BOTH DOGS GET A A LOT OF ATTENTION FROM THEM AND RESPOND TO THEIR COMMANDS VERY WELL. BLITZ IS ESPECIALLY GENTLE, BUT VERY PROTECTIVE AT THE SAME TIME. WE ARE VERY SURPRISED HOW QUICKLY THEY BONDED WITH US. WE WANT TO THANK YOU FOR SUCH BEAUTIFUL DOGS. WE WILL DEFINITELY PASS ON THE WORD TO OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS ABOUT YOUR FACILITY. MY BROTHER-IN--LAW IS ALREADY PLANNING TO PURCHASE ONE. THANK YOU AGAIN AND ENJOY THE PICTURES. 09-18-2007 Day Readhead, NC Just wanted to let everyone now how wonderful Mel has been these past two months. She behaves perfectly at all times and it is hard to imagine what life was like before she was around. We are working on achieving her SchH2 right now. Thanks for such an incredible dog! Sincerely, Day Redhead (I am mailing you a picture to put w/ my letter. You will receive it by 9/21.) thanks!!!
Sue Parini, CA Thought you might enjoy an update on Pia. She totally adores her big “brother”, Ovid. Whatever he does, she wants to do! She is doing great with her commands…and loves it when Ovid does them with her and of course, the hotdog rewards are a total hit. Pia is a water baby! It was so hot last week, so we got a kiddy wading pool thinking that she might enjoy it…she loves it! She digs the water until there’s no water left in it, and barks to have it refilled. She also likes to nap in our shower. She is growing well – 30lbs last week when we took her for another round of shots. We have converted Ovid over to her food and needless to say, he loves it. Pia also likes to wander into the tomato garden and snack on cherry tomatoes. I am attaching some recent photos of Pia…she is just so pretty! And she loves her Kong just like her Mother! Please share this with all how you think might enjoy, Sue
Jenny, SC I just wanted show you all how beautiful Xitta vom Kraftwerk has turned out. She looks so much like her father and is loving, gentle, driven, and working on her titling.
Dave Walsh, NY QUINN IS NOW 11 MONTHS OLD 85 LBS, HE IS A GREAT GSD. HE IS WONDERFUL WITH THE KIDS AND THERE FRIENDS. HE IS DOING VERY WELL WITH HIS TRAINING. I HAVE OWNED GSD ALL MY LIFE AND BY FAR HE IS THE BEST QUALITY GSD I HAVE EVER OWNED. I WOULD AGAIN LIKE TO TAKE THE TIME TO THANK WAYNE AND THE CREW AT KRAFTWERK FOR THE CARING, AND OUTSTANDING BREEDING THEY DO WITH THEIR DOGS. LOOKING FORWARD TO TALKING TO YOU IN THE FUTURE. DAVID WALSH NEW YORK
Fernando Aguilar, Guatemala Hi Wayne, I thought you would be proud to see a picture showing what the Kraftwerk Dogs are made of, totally fearless 50 miles offshore and facing off a big sail. You can imagine how happy I am with Ferayan, as well as the other 5 dogs I have from Kraftwerk. Best Personal regards. Fernando Aguilar
Denise and Allen Parker,CA Just a quick note to say how much we love Quenta! She is getting along wonderfully with her three "brothers" (our dog, Wulf, is from Kraftwerk as well--born 2000 out of Raubauke and Alice)...we can't imagine not having her as part of the family...we hope to add more to our "gang" in the future...take care!
Martin Tippett,CA I bought Z Hercules Vom Kraftwerk from Kraftwerk Inc about a year ago. Since then he's brought nothing but joy, smiles, memories and most important, a safe home. He's active, great with my little brother and my friends love him. Hercules is a beautiful dog, his colors are amazing and he is very well built. I look forward to future business.
Alex Khudyak Hello, everybody at Kraftwerk.I'd like to send you couple more pictures of Gerda(K-litter from Cruger and Mona). She is the favorite of the whole family.Beautiful, intelligent and loving shepherd.Thank you so much.Alex Khudyak
Sharyne Merritt, CA Hi Angelica, Thanks for picking out this wonderful boy for me (U litter Ursus - Cara). This photo was taken when he turned 6 months (60 pounds). He is smart, loving, handsome, and a total joy. He fit in easily with our adult GSD's (9 yrs and 14 yrs) and immediately became a part of our family. He's fine with the horses and is my constant companion around the farm. Thank you so much. We'll be calling to get another in a couple of years.
Jose Ramirez, CA Hi Wayne, This is Cindy at 24 months old, from Kaiko vom Salztalblick & SG Dakira von Trogida. ALREADY Executive Protection. Best thanks and speak to you soon. GRACIAS
Bobby & Deja Gilbert, PA Dear Wayne & the Kraftwerk Staff, We just wanted to thank you all for our wonderful girl "Roxy" (H Litter - Wilson & Dana.) She is almost 11 months old at the time of this picture. She is gorgeous and gets compliments everywhere we go. Our girl has an amazing temperament. She is most graceful with children yet can turn on her guarding instinct immediately if she senses a threat. On 1 occasion, my wife was in a public place with Roxy when 2 Rottweilers presented some aggression toward them. Roxy immediately took a stance between the other dogs and my wife and began to bark and growl in a defensive posture. The situation diffused fine and then the many people who witnessed the incident came up to my wife to ask about our brave girl. She was only 6 months old at the time! On another occasion, my wife collapsed in pain from an illness at our home. It was approximately 2 AM and I was asleep. Roxy instinctively knew something was very wrong with her "mom" and ran into the bedroom and jumped on me to awaken me. I was then able to call 911 for an ambulance. Everything turned out great and we are grateful to our girl Roxy. She has become an integral part of our lives now...truly one of the family. We never slept better since we got Roxy now that we know she is watching over us at night. We wish we had the words to tell you all just how pleased and thankful we really are. Your dogs truly are phenomenal and we hope to bring another into our home in the near future. Sincerely, Bobby & Deja from PA
Toby Werthammer, WV Dear Angelika and KraftwerkK9 Staff: I am attaching 2 pictures of Elsa (Z Litter -- Ursus/Newa) taken on her 3rd night in her new home. I simply can't believe she is only 12 weeks old! Everything you told me about her is true. She is calm, sweet and incredibly well behaved. Even though it was difficult to wait the extra four weeks, it was well worth the wait for her to complete her puppy training at Kraftwerk. When on leash, Elsa stays right by my side and sits every time I stop. She already knows to sit and wait before entering/exiting the house and/or her crate and she always goes to the same general area outside for her "potty time." In a word, she is PERFECT! And, oh by the way, did I mention that she is simply GORGEOUS!! Thanks to everyone at KraftwerkK9! If I ever have the opportunity to advise someone looking for a GSD, I will certainly point them in your direction. My best to all, Toby Werthammer
Mark Coe, CO Wayne, I just wanted to thank you and your incredible staff again for this wonderful dog Xaesar. He has been everything I could have asked for. He is my constant companion. He is truly amazing the way he moves from playful dog to watchful guardian. In fact the only issue I have had was introducing him to my other male dogs but I think this was more my issue than his. He is wonderul with my 2 little girls and never takes his eyes off them when they are outside playing. He gets compliments everywhere we go. Thanks again, Mark
Paul Jones and Tanya FalconerJones, Alberta, Calgary The attached photo of Victor was taken in May on the beach in Tofino, British Columbia on his first birthday. As you can see, he has grown into a big beautiful dog and his temperament is fantastic. He loves people and dogs and is a great exercise companion. 06-03-2007 Jeff Moenssen, IN Heres a picture of Nisha I got her in Dec. She is the smartest and most beautiful GSD I've owned yet. She is with me 24/7 traveling the country with my business and is very socialized. We will be working on her SchH1 during the summer. She is best friends with my other titled dogs that run my house, thanks for the great dog hope to get another next year.Jeff
Beverly, MD Dear Wayne, I started to panic a little just before you sent Ebie to us. What was I thinking-bringing a large full-grown dog into my happy little group? Would she eat my little Pug, would she pick fights with the other dogs? I will never forget the sincerity in your voice when you said, "You got a REALLY nice dog." To all who have seen or known Ebie the nicest thing I can say is that she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She has a wonderful temperament with nerves of steel. The afternoon of her arrival I took her with a friend to sit outside Starbucks and enjoy the nice weather. Without exception every other person who walked by stopped to admire her with a, "That is the most beautiful German Shepherd I have ever seen." The pleasant surprise was that I could barely contain her when children walked by-she wanted to cover them with kisses. Unfortunately, I became very ill the next day and was confined to bed for 3 weeks. To say Ebie and I bonded is an understatement. She never left my side. When my husband would let her outside she would bound back upstairs as if she hadn't seen me in days. While I have been recuperating she has developed a passion for cuddling with me and watching "Animal Planet." As I told you our 2.5 yr. old granddaughter was severely injured by her 4 mo. vaccine. When my daughter decided she might be interested in a specific German Shepherd, Donna in your office was nice enough to take that dog home for a weekend. Later when I asked you about that dog you said, "When and if your daughter wants a dog I want to hand pick it." You could have easily made another "sale," but didn't because you had a compassion for what our daughter and her young family have already been put through. You are obviously a man of honesty and integrity and my husband and I would like to thank you. There is no one I would even consider getting another German Shepherd from but you. Very Sincerely, Beverly in MD P.S. Recently our granddaughter had a "sleepover" with us. Upon rising in the morning I noticed Ebie was not at her usual place by my side. I went back in the bedroom and there she was snuggled right next to our granddaughter. Ebie would not leave her until she was awake. Did I mention we are in LOVE with Ebie!?
Gail Galen, OR Here are a couple photos for you, and a few words about my beautiful Mando: I was astonished at how quickly Mando (Don v. d. Warsteiner Quellen) became a boating enthusiast, after he became my 24/7 best friend in February. He loves the speed of a power boat as well as a lazy, quiet, tranquil kayak tour. He adapted to riding in a boat so quickly he was soon jumping in on his own, as if begging for another ride. He hops into the kayak even when it's on dry land; and I had to train him to let me get in first - he's so eager to go! And he enjoys a good swim to fetch his floating kong, so he's become an all around water dog. I also could not believe how quickly he bonded to me; at his vet check the staff was incredulous that he and I had only been together three days, because he was already unusually attentive to me. His appearance is so majestic that his regular puppylike playfulness is always a delightful surprise, funny and endearing! On walks in town he enjoys routine doggie sniffing, but he is all watchful business when anything requires his attention, such as a person running, or anything he considers at all suspicious. On leash, he is very tolerant of other dogs, and ignores aggressive overtures (which usually come from small dogs oddly enough), but doesn't desire up-close, personal encounters with unfamiliar dogs. I think he feels "on duty". I was looking for a serious protection dog who is adaptable, companionable, well-behaved and ready to work if need be, and that's exactly what I have with Mando. I just love him. From, Gail on the Lake
Edwin, Ingrid and boys, WA "The German Shepherd that corresponds to the standard, offers the observer a picture of rugged strength, intelligence and agility, whose overall proportions are neither in excess or deficient in any way. The way he moves leaves no doubt that he is of sound mind and body and so possesses physical and mental traits that render possible an ever-ready working dog with great stamina. With an effervescent temperament, the dog must also be cooperative, adapting to every situation and take to work willingly and joyfully. He must show courage and hardness as the situation requires to defend his handler and his property. He must readily attack on his owner's command but otherwise be a fully attentive, obedient and pleasant household companion. He should be devoted to his familiar surroundings, above all to other animals and children and composed in his contact with people. All in all, he gives a harmonious picture of natural nobility and self-confidence." Recognize this quote? That is Ferris in a nutshell. This dog is AWESOME! We have had him for a week now and he is already such a wonderful part of our family. As you know, we have three young boys, 2 cats, and a busy household. From the first day, Ferris has just seamlessly integrated into our daily lives. He CAN do it all! From picking up the kids at carpool, to going on long walks with me, to swimming and running, staying on long down-stays at baseball games (and not going after the ball), being a quiet but alert companion at home, checking on his boys at night before he goes to bed, on and on and on. He is attentive, responsive, noble, GORGEOUS, rock solid and reliable, friendly, and a terrific ambassador for the breed. I cannot go out of the house with him that I don't get at least one person coming up to me every 15 minutes asking to see this beautiful dog. And did I mention that he is stunning? It brings me such joy to see him moving and just doing the things he was bred to do. He is strong and agile and prances like a dressage horse. And then he jumps on the ball like a gleeful puppy and is absolutely adorable. And the top of his head smells good too! Our vet is so impressed with Ferris. He says that he has the body of an athlete and the temperament that most GSD owners only dream of. Yesterday he ran alongside our quadrunner at our 80 acre property - he ran for half and hour at least and wasn't even winded. He loves being off leash but stays nearby at the slightest command. And when on leash, he is so responsive - he knows when he is to stay nearby, like at the garden center, and when he can roam, like when on a walk. How does he know these things? Breeding and training. We are excited about playing hide-and-seek games with him and the kids - that will be a lot of fun for all of us. He does not bark at other dogs and is very quiet and well-mannered. However, today, at the ballfield, there was another dog there. At one point this Labrador made a sudden move towards one of my young sons and Ferris was watching. Ferris was on-leash and the other dog wasn't. Ferris did not like the fact that the other dog was lunging toward my son, while my son was bending down, and he barked and strained to reach them. He was definitely being protective and showing discernment. This is after one week in our home. He is bonding to me the fastest, as I am home with him all day - stays by me wherever I am - just confident and calm. What a wonderful companion. He doesn't whine or demand anything. He just wants to be with us and "go and do things." I have taken him next to a train, around a group of deaf children (who swarmed him), to elementary school at the dismissal bell, to meet horses and goats, and into many different cars and trucks. He is a perfect gentleman and so stable and gracious. He doesn't beg for people food or pull at the leash. He is responsive to the slightest word and really is tuned into body language. We are comfortable with the German commands, but he also cues into all the rest as well. We can touch any part of his body and he just ignores it. He loves to be brushed and is so cute when I wipe his muddy paws - he practically lifts each one for me while he stands patiently, like a horse being shod. Thank you for our awesome boy! We are so very happy with him. He is truly the epitome of what a GSD should be and we are so proud that he is in our family. I definitely recommend your kennel and would encourage anyone who is considering purchasing a dog from you to go and visit your beautiful place to see them. Thanks for spending the time with us and for this terrific animal. Edwin, Ingrid and boys Seattle Washington
Traci and Bart Viers, WA After much research, we finally found the two best GDS's ever! Pitt and Yanka are without a doubt the most loyal, beautiful dogs- They have fit perfectly in our family and with our other dogs. Yanka is truly a special dog whom I connected with immediately. She follows me EVERYWHERE. Pitt has got to be the biggest GSD, most beautiful male we've ever seen. He is protective, sometimes quite amusing and a pure joy to have in our home. Thank you so much for your support, professionalism, dedication to your clients and the GSD breed. Traci & Bart Viers
Mario Pavesi, CA Wayne, as you know we aquired Ulf in 05/2004 after visiting with you and your facilities (what a great place you have) you recommended Ulf for us, (my great loyal friend) not only protective but a wonderful companion as well. I will always be thankfull for your knowledge, understanding, and professionalism. Well since then we have been day-dreaming about another GSD, Ulf is six years old and full of energy and we felt that now would be the right time for another GSD, I never imagined that would be Xtra, (Miss Hollywood)the star of your training videos. How could I have being so privileged/lucky? Well after talking with you on the phone I new she was for us, she is everything you said and more, she is beautiful, very intelligent, friendly, great personality (but not a push over) and you are so right, lots and lots fun to be with, she fitted in our family perfectly. Your quality imports (Ulf) and your own breeding Xtra, is a testimony of the quality GSD you provide (I wish I had the room for 10 more) you are great, my wife and I are extremely happy with both of them. I have always known that the quality of your dogs were superb, but Xtra is Xtra special, as you can see from our photos our cats don't have any problems with her they are all relaxed as if Xtra had lived here all her live (It's only been five days). Well, I could write about them forever. Thanks again, Mario and Mona
Matt & Melinda Wolden, WA Our dog Cindi came home at 12 weeks, she is now 9 months old. She has become a HUGE part of our family, she goes to work with Matt & I everyday. After losing our Rottweiler "Lizzy" to cancer last year Cindi has helped in filling that void in our hearts. Thank you Kraftwerk Kennels!!
Don Person, CA We love and admire Gina more every day. She is everything we expected and more. She has been snapped at by two or three dogs at the dog park and by our grandson's little terrier and she just backs off a little and looks at them as if to say what's your trouble and they quiet down. She loves to play with the dogs at the dog park. She really loves romping with our grand son and his friends. Our veterinarian has two cats in her office and Gina quickly made friends with them. On the other hand she warns off strangers who get too close to the car when she is in it and when they come to the house. We feel quite sure she won't be aggressive toward children, other animals or non-threatening adults which is very reassuring. It is also apparent she is protective and knows that taking care of us is her job. Thank you for letting us have this exceptional animal.
Ali Spain, WA Can't say enough praise for Lana. Your recommendation of her was spot on. She is an absolute wonderful addition to our family already. She's calm & relaxed in the house...very happy to please. She did beautifully on our first 4 mile run this morning, with lots of distractions (bikes & walkers). I didn't have to remind her to Fuus once. She's also shown lots of tolerance with our 3.5 year daughter who is over excited to have Lana as a pet. We're all bonding fast here! I look forward to coming out to the kennel again in the near future to do some additional training (of me!). I'd love to see more of what she's capable of. Thanks again...we're super happy with Lana! -Ali
Bill and Dorothy in Florida Dear Angelica, Wayne and Staff; Over the past 45 years, Dorothy and I have owned Dobermans, Rottweilers and German Shepherds. This GSD is by far the very best dog we have ever owned. For all your great customers and future customers who visit your web site, we can say without hesitation, it was well worth the cost to purchase an “Available Trained Dog”. We purchased NENA, a 2 year old female that holds 3 titles…….AD, BH, & Schutzhund I. She is a wonderful friend and companion. From the moment we picked her up at the airport, NENA has been a bottomless source of enjoyment. NENA has both outstanding intelligence and temperament. Absolutely loves to chase the ball. NENA goes everywhere we go, and the accolades tossed her way are unending. There is not a finer breeder anywhere with the dedication to raising superior German Shepherd Dogs. Congratulations to Wayne Curry and ALL the wonderful people at Kraftwerk, K9. Vincent Family, LA A friend of mine who has a shepherd was joking around and took a couple of quick steps toward me. He apparently wanted to check our pup’s response and was holding a key in a way that looked like a knife. When he jabbed it at me the joke soured. Shooter (Ursus, March 06) jumped in between us, grabbed his arm and stood there growling. She held him firmly until I gave her the OK to release. Shooter is showing great character and loyalty at less than a year old. She is very kind to children and goes out of her way to greet neighborhood kids. She and our granddaughter play for hours. Your early training provided a great foundation. The pup does well off leash and holds a down-stay even if we are out of her sight. If we hide a ball in thick brush she will work from hand signals and use her nose until she finds and returns it. She is comfortable in the house and never wanders off when we are working outside. Remarkably, Shooter is the best mouse catcher we have ever had! It is so funny to watch this big boned, athletic puppy jump in the air and pounce like a cat! She hardly ever misses and stacks the mice outside the back door. Shooter is a unique and fun pup that consistently exceeds all our expectations.
Curtis and Rebecca Clark, MI Dear Wayne and staff: we are writing you to let you know what a wonderful dog (Yaska) from your 5-31-06 (Kaiko/Ina Y litter) is doing. She is now a little over 9 months and is over 80 pounds of pure muscle. She excels in eveything she does, including all obedience training and beginning schutzhund training. In her obedience training, she is further ahead of other dogs that are 6 months older and have had previous training. She remains right by my side, and follows all commands like no other dog we have owned, soooo intelligent!!. She will be going for her BH title at 15 months then on to her SCH1 title soon after that. People we know and meet can't say enough about her and her beautiful black color. She walks with us daily on our 6 mile trek and as time has gone by we have seen that she is becoming protective of her owners. She keeps a close eye on any strangers , either approaching or just passing by and isn't afraid to let out a bark to let them know who's boss. And of course that beautiful solid black color is menacing in its own right, scaring them just with her color and size! As you know Wayne, YASKA is our second dog purchased from you without a regret in the world. We could not be happier in our decisions about our dog buying with you, and recommend you to all who inquire. Thanks again, Curtis and Rebecca.
Paul and Ginger Brooks I would like you all to know that Apollo is a wonderful dog. He has a couple of 4-legged friends. One is a 10 pound Jack Russell named "WeeWee". It's pretty funny, because they are best friends. They will play fight, but then we catch them outside laying in the grass asleep. He is trying to be friends with our three year old cat, Jade. Well, Jade isn't too fond of a 90 pound puppy, so that is interesting when they cross paths. I will tell you that Apollo is a very protective dog. He loves Paul and I and our two kids, Lauren who is 9 years old and Tyler who is 4 years old. He listens very well to Paul and has attached himself to him. He is very intelligent and loves to play (maybe too much sometimes, but he is still young). Paul takes him on walks regularly and is teaching him basic obedience. I took him on his first run yesterday (about three miles), a little leery of how he would do, but he did great. He did not criss-cross me and I did not trip over his leash at all. Paul and Tyler rode their bicycles and were coming toward us and Apollo saw them. He did not know it was them at first, but I told him it was "daddy". Apollo did not bark. As soon as he saw both of them he wagged his tail and we ran toward them. He immediately went to Tyler, stuck his head under his hand so that Tyler could pet him, he was so excited. He went to Paul and immediately sat on Paul's left side, looking at him like, "How am I doing so far?" He is truly a great pup. So, I now have a new running partner. He is a beautiful dog and we get many compliments on how handsome he is. I cannot believe how fast he grew up. We all love him very much. Thank you for our new buddy!!!
Julia.DiAcri, CT Dear Angelica and staff. I just wanted to finally sit down and write a heart felt thank you for helping pick my very perfect puppy. Barin is the sweetest, he loves my whole family, he is very close to my boys. He was house trained by 9wks. He is perfect on and off lead. Kaiko and Fresche are his parents. He will be one in May. Thank you again for all your help and for breeding such amazing dogs. This picture was taken in October,he has grown a whole lot bigger since then. Take care, Julia
Joe and Cheryl Gilbert, LA We picked up "Sabo", from the airport about a week ago and from the minute we opened the kennel, he has been a joy. He is not intimidated in the least by our older GSD and has a great play drive. In just a week's time, he is almost house broken and happily sleeps through the night. We have been looking at your dogs for over a year as the breeder of our other GSD has passed on, and we are 100% certain that we could not have made a better choice! We look forward to sending you updates on Sabo in the future! Thanks again. PS. Your staff is fantastic. Benard Barker,CA Mutz is everything I hoped for in a dog of this caliber. He is a first class companion, attentive and obedient with seemingly endless energy. His breeding and training are apparent at all times, but the young dog in him shows when we play. He is also capable of being very affectionate which pleasantly surprised me. You have exceeded my expectations with Mutz and I would not hesitate to recommend you to friends and business associates.
Rick Gozur, OH Just a quick update/picture on Tovarich ( Don and Roxy litter, March 2006) She is growing into a large and beautiful dog. She is smart, gentle with kids and protective of our yard and family members. What a joy !!!!
Chris and Janice, Staten Island NY Hello Kraftwerk team. We just wanted to update you on our puppies Cezar (Ursus/Bessy litter) and Nova (Ursus/Newa litter). Nova arrived home on December 14th, acclimated immediately to her new environment and made herself at home. Brother and sister get along great - with the occasional brother/sister spat! Cezar recently completed Obedience 1 and was, as always the center of attention. He is a warm and gentle dog who has an outstanding temperament and drive for the ball! He is now in Advanced Obedience and is excellent. We expect great things from him. Nova is an intelligent girl who learned her name the very first day. She knows sit, stay, heel and down and is a pleasant joy to all of us. Both of them are thriving on the raw diet they are on. Again, thanks for the wonderful additions to our family. Here is a picture of them, waiting patiently while we vacuumed the rug.
Mike Garland, CA Rena, waiting for the whisper of a command from my daughter to take the defensive. Rena is great with all small children and the teenagers that come in and out of my house at all hours. My wife lost her cat she had after 19 years when Rena arrived. Rena and my wife have bonded so well together she sleeps at the foot of our bed and follows her everywhere. Thanks again...
Daniela Graf, FL Here they are! "Maya", my 10mo. old female out of Don & Roxy and "Max", my 5mo. old male out of Cela & Ursus. Aren't they gorgeous? I'm such a proud Mama. Max has been with us for not even a month and he fit right into the "pack". Here they are on their daily walk on the beach. I LOVE these guys; especially my girl; she is EVERYTHIHNG I was looking for in a GSD: while she is all drive on the working field, once at home she is sweet, calm, and just the most pleasant dog you could be around. In any case, I could go on and on about these guys but I won't do that to you all at Kraftwerk! So let me end by saying a huge THANK YOU to you all for sending me such great dogs!!!! I'll keep you updated on their progress and wish I was a millionaire with lots and lots of acreage so I could have a whole bunch more of your dogs!!! Sincerely, Daniela
Kelly Wilkens, NY Just an update on Lexxi, she has a birthday coming up she will be 1 year old on Feb 6th, and we have had her since she was 4 months old. Lexxi is such an important member of our household. Our children love her, and she loves them. Lexxi is so loyal, loving, and protective and we love her so much. Thank you Kraftwerk K9!
Peter and Tiffanna, NJ Hi Wayne and Staff, We couldn't be happier with our puppy Estar. At six months of age she is already a solid 65 lbs and one of the most strikingly beautiful dogs I have ever seen. It is rare we have her out any where that someone does not comment on what a beautiful dog she is. Her impressive size and beauty are only outdone by her personality and her temperament. She is always calm and inquisitive and bounces back well from any correction she may receive during training. She is the star of her obedience class and already on her way to being a strong tracker. We enjoy taking our girl on long hikes on the weekends. We incorporate her training lessons on our long walks and put her nose to good use playing hide and seek with one another in the woods. Since she was a little pup it's not been but maybe once or possibly twice she has missed her mark. Our excitement builds as we plan for our second Kraftwerk addition. Thanks for everything Peter and Tiffanna
David Walsh, NY HERE IS A PICTURE OF QUINN AT X-MAS. HE IS A GREAT PUP, EXCELLENT WITH KIDS AND VERY SMART, ALREADY KNOWS 6 BASIC COMMANDS, MY TRAINER THINKS HE IS THE SMARTEST DOG SHE EVER HAS TRAINED. AND SHE WAS A K-9 HANDLER WITH THE POLICE. THANKS TO KRAFTWERK, DAVE
Kreutzer, CO Hi, Wayne, Just wanted to update you and see our wonderful dog, Lily, at just 7 mos., 60#. A solid block of muscle, bone, and shining fur. She is the star of Boulder; universal warmth and kindness for all beings, with uncanny intelligence, rock-solid nerves, steely focus, lightening reflexes, and athleticism beyond belief. With the snow melt, we begin in earnest the "big dog business" of formal training. You did a wonderful job breeding her. Remember her at 4 weeks? You can see her focus and calm even then....
Tres and Virginia, TX We couldn’t be happier. This dog is by far the smartest dog we have ever owned. He does exactly what you described to us on the phone. Extremely obedient and absolutely loves to work. For anyone who wants a true athlete, this is the place to come. After our recent intrusion by an unknown thief, we decided to invest in the best alarm system available….Bodo. Now, we can’t wait till they try it again and either can Bodo ! The average dog owner thinks that his or her dog will protect when that crucial moment comes. That is not the case. Kraftwerk K9 produces a dog that WILL protect without hesitation or doubt. Not only can Bodo do that but he is extremely stable and sound. We never have to worry about him making a mistake. BODO ROCKS !
Katie O'Connor, NY Hi Wayne and Kraftwerk team. It has been almost a year since I last updated you on Eliana vom Kraftwerk (Lasko/Gina S litter). She has grown into a gorgeous 17 month old dog with outstanding intelligence and temperament. She is a favorite at her dog daycare where she goes 3 days a week, a fun-loving companion to her owners and a guardian to her flock of 10 housecats (yes, you read that right...no one touches them without her approval first). To top off her versatility she is training with the local Schutzhund club. She is exceeding in tracking, has good drives in protection at this early stage and we are obedience training with the club and on a monthly basis with Debbie Zappia. Hopefully my next update will be with a BH/AD title later this year. I went with my instincts in purchasing a puppy from you that what I was seeing was quality dogs and breeding -- and I am one happy customer. Thank you
Family from Seattle Henny on her way to her new home
Kelly Wilkens, NY We purchased Lexxi in May 2006 and could not be happier. Lexxi adapted very well from day one with our three boys, and is a wonderful family dog. We would recommend K9 Kraftwerk to anyone, it was a great experience and we would definitely purchase with them again in the future.
Evans family, CA Hi Wayne, I wanted to give you some updated information on how Kiara is doing in her new home. In short, We, love this dog. As you know, my wife Lisa had some logical reservations about placing a fully grown, fully trained protection dog right in the middle of our seven children. We selected Kraftwerk K9 after careful evaluation of several top kennels. These dogs are not inexpensive. None of them are at this level. They are however an excellent value and we feel that this was money very well spent. We are extremely pleased. Kiara has been with us for a week now and we have had nothing but success after success with her. Obviously, we followed your recommendations in not only selecting the right dog for our needs, but in integrating the dog into our family as well. We have yet to have anything occur that gave us reason pause, made us nervous, or become a problem behavior with virtually any part of our family or lifestyle. This dog is providing daily joy and plain old fun in addition to a new level of non lethal home security. Our family and friends simply adore this dog. She is extremely intelligent, nearly to the point of human intuition. She is very affectionate. She is attentive and obedient As she assimilates her new family, it is very clear that she is steady yet deliberate and resolute in protecting her new flock from strangers that give off the wrong signals. She is no deadhead. She is simply calm and measured in her responses to a given situation. I like that in people and I like that in dogs. Whether she is watching TV with the kids, riding in the car, or patrolling our property, this dog is doing a great job. Did I mention that we love this dog? Thank you for your expertise and continued support. I will keep you updated as to our progress. Glenn Evans
Atkinsons, WA Dear Kraftwerk Staff, We wanted to let you know how well our puppy Otto, from the Ursus/Cela G litter, is doing. He is just 4 months old and weighs 42 pounds! He is very smart and quite spirited. He spends lots of time outside with us exploring our 5 acres. We are so happy to have him and we have recommended Kraftwerk to a number of people. Thank you for taking such good care of the puppies before you send them home! A picture is attached. Sincerely, Dennis and Mary
Lynn Allen, WA We got Fero in June of 2005. Photo taken at five weeks old. He is the most easy going GSD we have ever owned. He is gentle, kind and tolerant of all people and other animals. We simply adore the boy. 12-16-2006 Ken and Gina Boyce, IN Ken and I have had the time of our lives with our four German shepherd dogs purchased from Wayne! All our dogs are beautiful and exemplify the German shepherd standard. We like a large size German shepherd, and Wayne did get us some large, beautiful dogs. The dogs all love being out in our two-acre fenced in yard. They are the Daniel Boone’s and Annie Oakley’s of today. They love to tree squirrels and will sit for hours daring them to come down from the tree. It is comical to watch the squirrel barking at our dogs and throwing twigs at them. They have also dug up several moles, which is a good way to get rid of the moles—but not so good on the yard. My husband, Ken, comes in every evening after feeding and playing with a smile on his face. He is always saying, “I love my dogs, I really love my dogs!” Me too! V-Kalli von Heinzenhausen VPG3, IPO3, KKL1 Kalli is never very far from me. She is definitely my dog and an excellent companion. She is protective of the house as she spends most of her time indoors, but she is not a threat to our friends. As soon as she was introduced to our family and friends, she not only recognized them, but the sound of their vehicles as well! She follows commands very well and loves to play fetch. She just had her first litter! The pups are very large and beautiful. I love her!! V-Cary vom Monchberg SchH2, KKL1 Cary was a very large dog when we purchased him, but he has recently come into his adult body. He is very strong and well built. Cary is the friendliest, most beautiful male dog ever! When we are at home, he loves being around our grandchildren, and friends—but as our neighbor said, “Do not bother anything at the Boyce’s when they are gone.” It seems to become his job to protect any thing on our property! Paula vom Kraichbach My husband fell in love with Paula’s picture. She was supposed to have been my dog, but something happened to that idea. She most definitely belongs to Ken. She is a beautiful black and red-lots of red. Ken and Paula play and walk together almost every night. She follows Ken’s commands very readily. When she became ill this fall I thought I was going to have to have both of them hospitalized. (She is very healthy now!) Ische vom Steigerhof BH Ische is our latest purchase. I fell in love with her picture when she was first listed. She is a show-stopper. When she goes to town with us, we are stopped many times by people wanting information about her. She is a beautiful black and red. She is friendly and outgoing and very willing to please. She loves the other dogs and enjoys living here with us and all her friends. Thank you Wayne and all the people involved at Kraftwerk K9. We are extremely happy with our four German shepherds!!!! Sincerely, Gini and Ken Boyce
Amber Morgan, MA Maybe it's too early to write as we haven't even had the pup a week yet! But Carbon (Ursus/Newa M litter) is perfect so far! He's bonded like glue to me and is smart, smart, smart. He's good to my 7 year old too, and I think the picture shows the beginning of a wonderful relationship. We'll be in touch and keep you posted on how Carbon develops. Many thanks!
Gollott/Houk. MS Dear Kraftwerk, We wanted to send some recent pictures of Kaiser. (Kaiko/Fresche 10/23/05) We absolutely love him, as you know all too well. Thank you for being patient and kind to us always. We could not dream of dealing with better people. Kraftwerk's commitment to excellence is obvious, and seldom does a day go by that we are not complemented and questioned about Kaiser. I recommend Kraftwerk to everyone, and especially to anyone seeking the best German Shepherd dogs and Breeder/Staff available. Wayne is patient, helpful and immensely knowledgeable, his interest in our concerns is obvious every time we talk. Kaiser has surpassed all expectations and is only limited by the shortcomings of our inexperience with training. As you know we are dedicated to his continued training and have some promising references now. Kaiser a proved a flawlessly loyal companion and constant source of joy in our lives. He is at both protective and inviting to the friends and family that he has come to know. We look forward to getting a mate for Kaiser in the future from Kraftwerk. We visit your web site often to admire your dogs, and have shown them to countless others. Again, thank you all for everything and Merry Christmas. With gratitude and sincerity, Arny Gollott and Jamie Houk 12-07-2006 Teri Szarzak Just wanted to say thank you for a truly wonderful pup. Malachi is from your Kaiko and Freshe T litter of May 3,2006. At the tender age of just 6 months,(Nov. 12,2006) Malachi received his very first title, his HIC. Certified under Shanon Wolfe. He passed and was given high remarks on his sheet. I am a proud Mom. I will try to scan some pictures in the near future if you would like to see him at work. I have a lot of plans for this little (big) boy. He is a very wonderful dog and couldn’t ask for better.
Weyers Cave, Virginia Wayne and Staff, Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how Ingo was doing. It's been 10 months since we brought him home and it seems like he has been here since he was a pup. He has done great since day one. He took to the whole family great, he has a special bond with my 12 year old daughter. They are best friends and he waits for her daily as she gets off the school bus. This was the best choice we could have made to purchase an adult "trained" dog and it was worth every penny! We will be purchasing another dog from you in the near future. Again thanks for everything. Ingo is a super dog!!
Susan Carpio, CO Hi Kraftwerk Team, We received our boy (WilsonxDana) last nite and WOW !!!!! He is AWESOME !!! Alert, ready to take the world soon as the crate door opened and yet, sucked up to me :) We love him, THANK YOU !!!!!! Susan Carpio and Hawk Vom Kraftwerk Radiantz Working K9
Susan C. Daniero, UT Puma is awesome! (formerly Cola vom Gleisenauer Schloss) She is a sweetheart & also is very protective of my home & business. She is always ready to play & full of energy, but very well mannered. Here she is with Booda, her stuffed giraffe. Thanks Wayne & Staff!
Rick Bauer, CO Hello Wayne and everybody there @ Kraftwerk! Just a quick update. All is great with my new puppy "RIO" from the Ursus/Bessy B litter. He is stellar! I'm extremely happy with my new dog. He is very, very, impressive, genetically superior and unique, beautiful, and so far, at 5 months has all of the specific qualities that you predicted. Thanks again for everything. I recommend Kraftwerk at every opportunity. Happiest Holidays to everyone and hope to talk to you again sometime. Thank You so Very Much!
John Jurden, OH Just wanted to let you know that Xendi has been wonderful! She is everything we wanted in a dog and more. She is always by my side and I cannot go anywhere in the house without her being right with me. Just wanted to give you an update. The boys adore her and actually want another just like her. I told them we might have to wait a year for another but you guys did exactly what you said you can do and you should be proud. Take care.
Torrence Family, WA We are just thrilled with our Kraftwerk puppy. She has been very easy to train, even at this early stage, she's already sitting and downing on command. She gets along great with everyone, even the cat, and simply loves to be around us. Unlike our other shepherd that seems to be a one person dog, Benni, our new puppy loves everyone. Thank you so much for this wonderful addition to our family.
Paul Jones & Tanya FalconerJones, Alberta CN Victor has been with us for 3 months now and as you can see from the attached photo he is now a beautiful 6 month old boy who has experienced his first snow fall. We have not weighed him in the last few weeks but by now we think he is about 55 lbs. His temperament is fantastic and he loves running in the off-leash park and chasing the other dogs. Unfortunately, he usually chases the tall skinny ones (e.g. Dobermans and Pointers) that are faster than him. He finished puppy training - top of his class - about a month ago and will begin obedience school in two weeks. He's a great addition to 'our pack'!!
Chris and Janice Hi, hope all is well with you, the rest of your team and the dogs at Kraftwerk. We just wanted to give you an update on a puppy that we purchased from you back in August. From the moment that we picked him up at the airport, Cezar has been a bottomless source of enjoyment for us. He is a great companion and is always surprising us with his antics. He is very well behaved with both people and dogs alike. He'll go pretty much anywhere without fear and hesitation. I can't walk him for more then 20 paces without being stopped by someone who wants to admire him. Cezar has become the center of attention wherever we go. Our veterinarian is truly impressed with his development so far. At 4 1/2 months old he weighs just shy of 50lbs. A solid 50lbs. He gets the Royal Canin in the morning and an all raw diet in the evening. He thrives on it. He is slated to attend obedience school in a couple of weeks. With his drive and energy I'm sure that he'll excel. I've included a few pictures. The first two are from the first week that we had him and rest were taken within the last couple of days. Look at how much he's grown. We liked him so much that we decided to purchase another puppy. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Chris & Janice
Mardi C, NJ Dear Wayne, Thank you and your staff for our precious Z-litter pup from: Ursus and Gina, born 6/2/06. We absolutely adore our elegant little lady. Zelenka (little innocent one) is pictured here at four months with her buddy Scout. She is such a happy/loving puppy with the desire to please. I am certainly lucky to have found Kraftwerk K9, a reputable GSD breeder, with excellent breeding stock that produce valuable puppies. Naturally, we are very happy and look forward to another puppy from you in the future. Take care, Mardi
Austin Pickering, CA Hello its Austin from California, here is some pictures of my pup she is doing great!
Bob & Trish Berquist, WI We want you to know that Gusti is one happy dog (and so are her owners!) She gets plenty of exercise, hiking, swimming and chasing balls. She has great athleticism and energy. She is well loved by family, friends and other dogs. Now cats - that's a different story! We are grateful everyday that she is in our lives. Come and visit her if you are ever in N.W. Wisconsin. Sincerely, Bob & Trish Berquist
John Barbar, OR Dear Wayne and everyone at KraftwerkK9, Wow! What a super dog! Ulko has started to settle in, and he has quickly become King of the Yard. Aside from his authoritative stance, he absolutely loves to play ball with Johnny's kids. Johnny and his entire family would like to thank you for such a fine animal. It was truly a great experience to visit your kennel yesterday, and to receive the expert direction that led Johnny to purchase Ulko. He is a awesome German Shepherd and a rare find. Best regards, Jeremy Robbins and Johnny Barbar
S. Lindquist, NC I wanted to relate a recent incident in which Jam proved his worth. I was working with Jam in our neighborhood park while my 4 year old daughter played with her older brother approximately 10 feet away from me. Jam stopped paying attention to our routine, and became very interested in what the children were doing. I saw that they were playing with a young dog that, while on a leash, was jumping around, rolling on her back and barking. The owner smiled and assured me that his dog was "just excited and that she was just being friendly." I threw the ball to Jam one more time and instead of coming back to me, he started toward the children. I turned again, and saw that the other dog had apparently knocked my little girl down, and that the owner had picked my little girl up. Jam flashed by me, alerted, and started to aggressively back the guy into a corner. I immediately had my kids come to me, checked to make sure that they were alright, and called Jam. He came, but kept himself between us and what he obviously perceived as a threat. I was upset, because I thought that Jammy had overreacted to an overgrown puppy. As it turned out, Jam was not reacting to the DOG at all; rather, he was reacting to the OWNER. Three day later, my little boy pointed to a flyer in our local grocery store and wanted to know "why the man with the dog had his picture in our grocery store?" Turns out, the dog owner is a registered child molester whose latest ploy was to find a random dog and take it to a park where children played. He would later try to get the kids to help him look for his lost dog. I thought my kids were pretty savvy until they assured me that, while they would never go anywhere with a stranger, the man with the dog was OK because "he wore a suit like Daddy and he had a cute puppy." Thank you for sending a dog whose sense of people is far, far better than mine. Not only did Jam react when a maniac put his hands on my baby, he gave me the opportunity to reeducate my children. Thank you again. The Lindquist Tribe
Jenny Amram, SC I just wanted to let you all know how wonderful both Blitze (2 y.o. Rebauke& Gina) and Xitta (16 wks-Ursus) are doing. They have become the best of friends and romp together all over the property. My friends have been very impressed with our Kraftwerk Dogs and can't get over their kind dispositions.
Radiantz Working K9, CO Rayka has been one complete joy to add to our household. She is absolutely regal, sweet and incredibly trainable. As you can see, she loves her family! She also gets along with all the other dogs, enjoys trips in the car and events where there is lots of people and action. So hard to believe she is only 4 months of age here!! Our beautiful girl. Thanks to the kraftwerk team for the incredible pups!
Rabih Sater, CA Benn has been a delight to have. Were are really happy with him. We learned a lot from him the the first few weeks he came here. He is a big baby and such a good protection dog. Thank you very much for sending him to us.
Rick Gozur, OH Just a quick note to say how happy we are with Tovarich ! (Don and Roxy litter)She is now 5 months old and a wonderful addition to our family, as you can see we have a 20 month little boy and Tovarich learned fast not use him as a "chew toy". She has learned the basic commands, and now that the kids ( WE HAVE 4 OF THEM) are back to school, I can get busy with some advanced training. I want to get involved with Schutzhund and know Tovarich (with her excellent bloodlines) will do fantastic. Thanks again for breeding such wonderful dogs and we look forward to a life long relationship with Kraftwerk !!!
Debi and Tim Shippe, AZ These are our dogs, Maximus who is now 4 years old born on 6/22/2002, and Zeus born 8/13/05. As a puppy Max always let Zeus have a turn to be the dominate. Now there are certain items, but very few that they won't share. We are thrilled to have such wonderful dogs in our home. I recently started a home business and people come in and out on a daily basis. The boys calmly great the newcomers, show more enthusiasm to regulars and then go and lay down nicely. They are still very protective when it is needed. They love to go out in public and give lots of licks(kisses) to anyone I introduce them to. They are particularly fond of children. Max's attitude towards other animals is very welcoming. Many of our friends have fallen in love with our dogs and are willing to wait until we breed him. I encourage them to go to your website as I did to a man I shared an obedience class with. He now has one of your dogs and it is beautiful. I also attended the Desert Dog K-9 Trials in Mesa this spring. I saw many beautiful animals there but none could compare to my own. I was repeatedly asked where I got them. When I mentioned your name, my boys were looked at in awe. You are way up on the pedestal of expert breeders. I know I was lucky to find you. Each time I look at Max and Zeus I count my blessings. Again thanks for giving us such wonderful companions. Yours sincerely, Debi and Tim Shippe
Jim & Debbie Sanfilippo, MI Koenig, despite his relatively young 19 months is nearly ready for his BH which we hope will be followed by his SchH1 by year end. He's the spitting image of Rabauke (Wanda)and an exceptional member of our family. His drive is unbelievable, he's bright, responsive, game and unstoppable. As Bryan Harvey notes, "he's a whole lotta dog"!
Vincent family, LA When my older shepherd was diagnosed with a degenerative nerve condition I felt like we would never find another dog like her. I read the website notes from your satisfied customers and called. Honestly, I thought no one could provide the special dog I was looking for-- but you guys delivered! Shooter is now 5 months and one of the most amazing shepherds I have seen. Her coat is short, shiny and beautiful black with patches of sable and deep tan. Your staff trained her very well and she attached to our family immediately. The training program and videos were great. At the present time Shooter works well on or off leash, maintains tremendous eye contact and has great anticipation. She is very good with informal commands and stays well in boundaries while off leash. She doesn't chew on the furniture or tear up the yard and comes when called. She obeys family members and treats my grandchild very gently. When Shooter needs to go outside she sits down by my chair, looks at me intently and, if I don't pay attention, she barks! She is a happy puppy that makes you smile when you see her running toward you. In regard to grip and drive development, she will leap four or five feet in the air to make a hard bite on the dummy and bring it to the ground even if she lands on her back in the process. Sometimes I forget she is only 5 months old! Thanks for a great puppy. The Vincent Family
Brett and Carrie Welch, TX Carrie and I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how happy we are with Karson. He is the son of Kaiko and Bapsy. He is almost 14 months old and has grown into a very handsome dog!! Wherever we go, people are always commenting on how beautiful he is. He is extremely gentle towards other people when we are out in public. However, while at home, he protects the house and family from any unwanted or unannounced intruders. He has had his basic obedience and we have just started him on his Schutzhund training. He absolutely loves it. You can tell this dog was born for the sport. It’s definitely in his blood. Thanks for all of your support and guidance, and we look forward to giving you updates on this wonderful addition to our family.
Klavins, VA Kaiser has quickly become a very loving and great member of the family. Thank you for such a beautiful dog!
Lovelands, NV This picture is of Mark and MAX on the first day that we had the cute little guy. Max follows both of us around all day long. He is so smart for such a young puppy. Thank you so much for such a nice GSD, you have a great facility and breeding program and just having this dog for one day has shown us what kind of time, effort and caring you put into your business. We would highly recommend your dogs and puppies to anyone who would ask about your facility and our new puppy from Kraftwerk K9. I am sure as time goes on we will update you with progress of Max and new pictures. Thanks again for such a great experience in dealing with you and your staff on a great purchase of this wonderful puppy. The Lovelands
Clarks, MI DEAR WAYNE AND STAFF WE WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU HOW HAPPY WE ARE WITH HANNA AND JUST HOW GREAT A DOG SHE IS. SHE LOVES THE LITTLE MIN PINS AND OUR MALE GSD. SHE MINDS SO WELL AND LOVES TO GO ON HER 6 MILE WALKS . WHAT A GORGEOUS DOG. EVERYWHERE WE GO PEOPLE STOP AND SAY WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DOG WE HAVE. SHE WAS WELL WORTH THE EXTRA COST FOR A TRAINED DOG. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GET ANOTHER GSD FROM YOU WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW HOUSE ON 10 ACRES. THE DOGS WILL HAVE A BLAST OUT THERE.. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP PICKING OUT THE RIGHT DOG .. WE LOVE HER!!CURT & REBECCA
Mary Lou Campbell, CN I don’t think it’s necessary to tell you how attractive and well behaved Myrina is – but I will. She’s been absolutely everything and more than I anticipated. From the moment we met each other at the airport, she has been attached to my side and has quickly become my entertainment, my protection, my reason to exercise and many more things. She is a total joy. I would like to thank you Lory and Wayne as well as Angelika for all your help and for providing me with a lovely creature. Many friends and family members thought I was crazy buying a dog sight unseen over the internet. I felt totally confident with what I was doing and who I was dealing with. One of our drivers here at Wilride was a victim of internet fraud recently. He bought a dog on line, paid for it and never did get the animal. It’s unfortunate for the good people like yourself that there are thieves and crooks diluting what you do – I guess it’s not unlike my business or any other though. Thanks again.
Carrie Barthen, TX Xelli got here around 6:30pm and from the moment she got out of the crate, she has been a sweetheart. She already is trying to play with our two corgi's, but they are not quite sure about her yet. We took her to the barn and she was okay with the horses and is very obedient. Thanks for the great dog.
Ruthie G., MN Hello Wayne and Kraftwerk team, I can not say enough good things about Asja. When I picked her up, we rode to northern Washington to my mothers house and she was a perfect lady. Her manners in the house are impeccable and she is wonderful with children. She was with me all the way back to Minnesota and nothing bothered her, new places, motels,or the 1600 miles in the vehicle. She gets along perfect with our male shepherd and was never agressive with him. He loves her and they act as though they have always been together. She has been the perfect lady and follows me everywhere. My son is bragging how perfectly safe she is. She is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much. 06-28-2006 Candy Temmermand, CA Hello Kraftwerk, Liza got her SchH I this weekend and she will be going for her breed survey in July. She has been alot of fun to train. She is a super willing dog and an awesome family pet, I love this dog. Thanks again Candy
New family, TN This is just a note to let you know that Bandito has arrived and is behaving like a perfect gentleman. The pickup at the airport was very smooth. I wish picking up humans was as trouble free. We let our 9-year-old (almost 10) be the first one to greet him and get him out of his crate (with the hot dog treats you suggested). As a result, he won’t leave her side and minds her extremely well. That’s a good thing since he is so much more powerful than Louise (our female German Shepherd). Their relationship (the two dogs) is still somewhat rocky. But that’s due more to her than him. He’s rather bored by the whole affair. However, with time I don’t think there will be any problems. Meanwhile our daughter is downstairs in her bedroom reading to Bandito while Louise is off with Daddy to the store. (The logistics remind me of bringing home a new baby from the hospital and having to make sure the older sibling isn’t left out.) Anyway, we’ll keep you updated. Thanks so much. We love him already.
Dave & Michelle Berry, MN Hi! As you can see from the attached photo, our little Niko (Don & Roxy litter) is growing!! He has such a calm personality, loves to play and is very smart. This dog is so self-confident it is scary. We also have a 115lb Lab but needless to say, the lab acknowledges, already, that the GSD is alpha. It is almost comical to watch Niko eat first. They play so well together! He is also filling a very special place in our family, since we had to put our GSD of 12 years down March 12, 2005. Niko was a Valentine's Day present from my husband (at the time, he gave me the purchase agreement indicating the attributes of the pup and due date of 3-15-06). The truly remarkable part is that Niko was born 3-12-06, exactly 1 year after we had to say goodbye to our previous beloved Shepherd. Needless to say, Niko is not only filling a special place in our hearts, but is growing into a very beautiful companion. He is an absolute delight!! At 9 weeks, we were housetrained and we knew the command sitz. By 12 weeks, we had platz pretty well mastered. He is so easy to teach. We wish to thank you for such an excellent and special pup as well as for all your assistance in answering questions. We often tell our kids to "Take time to smell the flowers" and in that regard, we thought we would send the attached photo to you! Enjoy!
Susan C. Daniero, UT I received Cola a little over a week ago & am so pleased. I have re-named her Puma & she is a darling. She is the smartest & sweetest German Shepherd I have ever had. She is loving Park City, our neighbors, & other dogs at the dog park. Thank You Wayne & your staff at Kraftwerks K9. Susan C. Daniero
Wilkinsons, FL Just a quick update on Inka. She is now 5 months and, as you can see, just a beautiful girl. Her training has been so easy that she makes me look good all the time. She is very protective of the house and yard already sounding off with a deep bark that I bet is quite scary to strangers. We are so happy to have her and I still can't believe how solid her temperament is in any situation. She starts her professional training this month so I'll update you from time to time on her (my) progress. I recommend people to Kraftwerk all the time and I am looking forward to getting my next GSD from you. Thanks again, Mike Wilkinson and Family
Strobecks, PA This is our beloved Kaiser during one of the few snows we had in south-central Pennsylvania thiis winter. Born St. Patrick's Day 2005, arrived here via Delta airlines on Cinco de Mayo 2005, he is certainly an international, travelling dog! He still travels...15 months old...has our 10 acres to play, goes along to the Delaware beaches (but doesn't really care for the ocean) and visited a local park for the Easter egg hunt! We spoil him terribly but he is a great ,dedicated friend, especially to Bob & me. He is very steady and brave, not hiding during thunder storms or hot air balloon passages overhead. Kaiser has a healthy, sturdy body & his coat glistens! We love this dog! 06-03-2006 Dan Gentile, NJ I picked up the puppy last night. I have to tell you how much I like this pup. In all of my years of training dogs (fifty years) he is one of the best puppies that I have ever owned or trained. He's everything that I would want in a puppy. I will surely recommend your kennel to any my clients looking for a German Shepherd. Again I just want to say "Thanks" Dan www.njdog.com

Michael Chuk, NV Here is Dora that I received from you last July. She has turned out to be a very good girl as is beautiful. We have re-named her Milka. She also was very easy to train. Thanks a bunch! Michael Chuk
Ronnie Trevathan, GA Wayne , I just thought I would let you know how much we have enjoyed Tex, there is hardly a day that goes by that he does not do something that is absolutely amazing. We do a lot of traveling with a tournament softball team, and he goes most of the time. There is always someone asking about him or sending their kids over to play with him, he really draws a big crowd everywhere he goes. I have attached a picture of him with the team. Thanks again, Ronnie Trevathan
Daniela Graf, FL It's been a week since we picked "Maya" (Don&Roxy)up at the Miami airport. Poor thing had to fly all night and although she was crying when she first got into the cargo area, she came right out of the crate with her tail wagging. We got home and introduced her to our 11year old boxer "Sammy" and that seemed to make Maya's day. She loves other dogs as she has shown us on numerous occasions during the week we've had her. Our next door neighbor is a retired police officer and has 2 GSD himself, one of them a 3yr. old male. They visit each other every day and have a ball chasing each other; we all get a kick out of that because Maya seems to think she is hot stuff, never backing down! All in all this first week of having her has been great, though I forgot how much work a puppy |
